Chef Rena Frost Grilled Lamb Sandwich with Onions, Peppers and Roasted Garlic Aioli

Make your summertime lunch even more special with this delicious grilled lamb sandwich


  • 2 1/2 lbs Aussie lamb sirloin 
  • Kosher salt as needed
  • Black pepper as needed
  • Avocado oil as needed
  • 1 red bell pepper, roasted, sliced thin
  • 1/2 onion, white, sliced thin, sauteed
  • 4 oz. arugula
  • 4 Cuban rolls


To prep: Rub oil on lamb and season with salt and pepper. 

To cook: Place on charbroiler and cook until temperature is 135°. Remove and let rest. Slice and reserve meat.

To serve: Heat bun on griddle until light brown. Remove bun and spread aioli on bottom bun, layer arugula, and lamb. Top with onions and peppers. Serve with steak fries.
